Hi David, You ignored most of my criticisms. Thus they stand as stated. If you had any sense, you would have known that posting of the linear space axioms was an attempt at humor. You still don't know where the numbers for Adobe RGB, sRGB, etc. come from. Where have you -- the Color Management expert -- been for the last thirty years. They were not laboratory "created" or "made up". Just in case anyone is interested, here's a quick synopsis. 1. Back in 1931 (yes - 85 years ago) CIE color scientists took measurements on human observers. They used three reference light sources -- one each at 435.8 nm, 546.1 nm, and 700 nm. 2. A series of target lights of known wavelength were placed next to them. 3. The observers varied the power in each reference light until the net color of all reference lights matched the color of the target light. Those measurements (repeat - measurements) of the power in each reference light is the original RGB color space. To this day, all other non-device color spaces are mathematical derivations from this original measurement RGB color space. They are not "laboratory created". Joan the new person (aka David Milisock) can not use any of this at work. So what. It's not forbidden knowledge to anyone else. You can have the last word. I'm not interested in any more discussions with someone who doesn't listen. Phil PS: It's obvious that you are not a professional. You did not post your computer specs, printer, monitor, lighting conditions, etc. etc. etc.
