I would try Cinzel, a free Google font. https://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Cinzel Do kern it better than the sample. B/R is too far apart considering the clash of the R/A pair... Mike

Hi Acalkins, 1. Did you accidently use any of the following buttons. They appear in a few more places than in Curves. 2. The change in color for the pointer may be deliberate to make the pointer more visible. Phil

Hi Everybody, I stand by my original post. 1. Retcat is using a "home & student" edition. It should run on any computer that meets Corel's published minimum requirements. 2. CDGS X7 is loaded with bugs. Corel has acknowledged them for over one and a half years. 3. David Millisock is insulting. Just go back and read his posts in this thread 4. There is no reason to use a $10,000 computer and a $15,000 Cathode ray Monitor to run CDGS just because this is David Milisock's standard solution to bugs. 5. There is no reason to keep everything off these resources except CDGS X7 just because David Milisock will insult you unless you comply. 6. I use CDGS X6 on a three year old computer ($650). I myself added 30 programs. CCleaner listed a few hundred more in the background. The grandchildren play games on the internet with this computer. They have it loaded with "google crap". YET: 7. Photopaint X6 runs every day without any problems. 8. DRAW X6 runs several times a week without any problems 9. MS Publisher has never had a crash or freeze in the last eight years. -- -- CONCLUSION -- -- CDGS X7 BELONGS IN THE GARBAGE CAN. Phil PS: Let's hope that CDGS X8 is opened before being published. The initial release of CDGS X7 was unusable. PPS: Up here in the Highlands, we simple hill people see to it that executives get fired for this type of failure.

Open FontNavigator (included on the CorelDRAW suite) and go to File / Find fonts. Search your entire hard disk if you don't have a folder for store fonts besides the Windows/Fonts folder fon already installed fonts. The first time will take some seconds or minutes (according with your hard disk). Then, you could find the font and install it

a maximum of 45720.0 mm Why such a restriction in the program? It could have been much more convenient if you make space more! 100000,0mm do I think then the program was the best of its kind! Another would be to add such a function as the arc length ... and correct operation in PowerClip have coreldraw graphics suite has a great future

I once saw a Corel employee explain why the limit is 45,720 mm. Don't remember the cause but I think it had to do with the code and changing it would be difficult. Anyway, Draw allows for bigger drawing area than many (most/all?) competitors.

That's what I said. There is an echo in here... The sample has been altered from the font as installed, btw. It's compressed.

As I said before, you can use "Scale" in order to create a bigger size page, for example 1:10 will allows you to create a 457.200,0 mm (457.2 meters) . (Please visit the site to view this file) It's just a matter of logic. Can you create a PDF of 100000,0mm with CorelDRAW? Yes, but Acrobat and most RIP can't read it. Can you export as bitmap (JPG, TIF, etc)? No. The limit is 30.000 pixels. Then... how do you will send to print?

Forum Post: RE: can't edit imported pdf?
I agree with MikeWe that forgetting to ungroup might be a culprit. Another culprit is that some pdf's contain bitmap elements with no vector contents. So a a download link would be good.
