Hi Everybody, I very much prefer the BEVEL dialog in Photopaint to the ones in Photoshop and PaintShopPro. However, there are several annoyances with it. Can they be corrected without a lot of fussing with Selections and retouching. Here's an example. The image on the left is the original. The image on the right is after creating the bevel, The illuminated side is in red. 1. The illuminated side always shows a texture no matter what texture I pick out of the texture box . I've even added solid colors to the texture folder to no avail. 2. The side which is not illuminated becomes black. Usually, it even has a slight texture of the illumination as well. I would like to control the color of the non-illuminated side. Increasing SMOOTHNESS reduces the textures but it also greatly decreases the sharpness of the boundary. Am I missing something or do I have to put up with Selections and retouching. Phil
