Only a single question: "any possibility to assign a shortcut to assign convert to spot color" Just a quick way to assign a shortcut to making a spot color is what he asked. Everything you've said is unrelated to that question. My comment only dealt with how such a simple key command would work and whether or not it's possible because questions need to be answered.
