Ariel, Ihave a secondary font folder on another HD FontNav recognizes that directly but CorelDraw still sees fonts only from the Windows directory so what is the point of Font Nave other than informing people of what fonts are on their systems
That's how operating systems works. Not only Windows, it's the same under MacOS. Fonts are managed by the operating system and shared with all programs.
I think Claude (from Corel) once mentioned something about building a replacement to BFN. If he were to do so and include activation/deactivation of fonts, it would be too difficult for him to point to a folder on the hard drive. Whether their libraries and/or code would permit the hiding of the Windows fonts, I don't know
There're several font management programs, and all do the same job: manage installed and uninstalled fonts, but the only option is to have the default font fonder under Windows folder. Even if Corel develop a new program, the path couldn't change
