I still use Corel 10, but I run mine in Win 98SE and in Win XP SP3. I never registered it (since at the time I bought it, it was unsupported already). But of course I needed to provide the serial number during install to get it to install in the first place, Mine of course is a single seat license and works fine with or without the PC being on the network. Win 7 is so different from the OS Corel 10 was designed for that I'm surprised that it even ran at all. If I had to run it in Win 7, I would probably have tried to run it under a virtual PC app which Microsoft provides for Win 7 and installed older OS in the virtual PC. The only really strange that happens in my configuration was that at some point I was unable to print anything. Even print preview wouldn't work. I could clock on the menu selections for printing but nothing would happen. But the printers worked fine with other Windows apps. I fully removed (including manually removing the folders left behind after removal) and reinstalled Corel 10 but the printing problem remained! Then I tired a full restore (from a backup taken when Corel still worked) of the entire C drive except for the folders with all my documents. That fixed the printing problem for me. I have no idea what file (or registry entry) was the actual fix but I was happy. Backups saved my hide again! If you have a backup of that PC from before the crash, try doing a restore of your C drive. Peteski
