Hi Everybody, Blends of spot colors should not be shown as CMYK by the eyedropper. It's true that DRAW must calculate their value using CMYK. For that matter, the same is true for any spot color. Moreover, the monitor can only display RGB values. That doesn't mean that every color from anywhere should be identified by the RGB of the monitor. Ultimately, spot colors end up on a printing press. If there is a blend of two spot colors, then: 1. Ink wells must be loaded with these two spot colors. 2. The RIP will calculate the correct distribution of dots per plate. 3. The blends will appear on the printed sheet as percentages of the two spot colors. Thus, it makes more sense to me to have the eyedropper show percentages of each spot color. Phil
