Phil [/quote] Phil, First, PowerTRACE is only available within CorelDRAW, not Corel PHOTO-PAINT, if you use a newer version of at least X4/X5. PowerTrace has not been a stand alone program since maybe X4 or earlier. Yes, you can use Path tool in Photo-Paint, but to create a original vector object/curve, you should use CorelDRAW instead, as it is a 100% vector program The hand tracing method - not PowerTRACE that is - would then be to use the vector tools available in the Toolbar in CorelDRAW
