An icon editor can extract the icons from Corel's dlls that holds the icons. And there are some that can edit and then replace them back into the dlls one extracts them from. If you do this, always make a backup copy of the corel icon dll. There will be 4-5 or so icon layers in each icon file you extract for handling the various screen resolutions. These are "pages" in the icon file.
