Ariel... Of course you don't 'need' to, but I guess that's just a philosophical difference of opinion. I'm saying no one really 'needs' to, but everyone should absolutely 'want' to. Unless of course they're not interested in productivity, and in such - profit margin. Let me make sure I get this straight... A productivity enhancing tool should only be used if you use it often. Right...? And just for grits & shins... How do you know how "many users don't use guidelines", much less - "how many documents they have"...? I don't get it man... "Macros are good / I use them every day / they have value" or "just do it the way that takes 3-5 longer", and don't worry about productivity, ergo profit margin. You're talking out of both sides of your keyboard sir... Food for thought: ► It takes 10 minutes to research how to create a macro, copy the verbiage from Myron, and create the button. ► It takes you "one minute to select all guidelines and delete them". ► You only delete all of your guidelines only 3 times per day. ► It takes you 3 seconds to click on a button 1 time, 3 times per day. Taking all of this into account, and you'll waste 12 hours and 50 minutes per year deleting guidelines. I won't. ♫ Ding - ding ♫ (Yes... that was the school bell. Class dismissed.) #macroeconomics101 PS - Our ancestors did not crawl out of the primordial goo until around 60+ million years later, but History101 doesn't start until after lunch. Bring a notepad and pay attention in this class. You're welcome...
