Thanks, I just tried using the CTRL key as you suggested and I can move the window around without the docking annoyance appearing. It really should be the opposite as if you do not use the CTRL button your window docks then you have the drag off the toolbar and then have to resize it. Again very annoying. I last had X3 and never was this a problem. X3 won't install on my Windows 10 laptop as 10 says not compatible......
