Thanks. Indeed my explication was not clear. The problem occurs when I try to move a drawing to a page border on the same page. It ALSO occurs while creating a new page. I think this is a grave failure of Corel. The alternative way to yours (what I have done) is to make a page large enough to insert the drawings into it. Then scale each drawing to a page size and make four pages., separate drownings by pages and finally resize the pages. As I notice there is no other way to make cad file keep its layer structure in Corel. I mean while manipulate them into a desktop. I think the idea of merging layers to the desktop one of elements on a desktop is not the brightest one. Once I learned that to avoid it one should make a desktop layer non selectable before an element is place out of page border. But it does not seem to work either.
