Hi Phil We still do explain that colour slides have a density range much higher than ink on paper so the contrast will be much lower in print. We still have a couple of samples to show people. At one time MAcbeth made a slide projector that enlarged up to 5 x I think it was and projected the image onto a screen with colour balanced lighting around it. The saturation looked like a printed sheet it was a great help Darn thin cost almost 1500. back in the early nineties. Ross Blair
