I do wanna add something to this slap-happy party concerning ASP... I get a lot of product photos. While sometimes I get RAW, I mostly get TIFFs and JPGs. ASP isn't just great on the processing of RAW. I often find the product shoots tend to have the same "errors" in them. So I process them in ASP before any post-processing work (which may only be cropping) happens. Because of ASP using side-car files for even non-RAW formats, the originals remain unaltered. Because ASP (or LR) uses the side-car files, such adjustments are far faster than loading images into an editor and using adjustment layers to achieve the same effect...especially if I need to alter one or more again. I do the same process on the family photos and photos sent to me by family for our yearly set of 10 variant calendars we make each December, etc. Heck, yesterday my wife shot way too many photos of both our newest grand babies (1+ and 2+ year olds) and our newest member of the family, our first great-grandchild. She, like David mentions, uploaded them onto the server, I processed them while making my first cup of coffee this morning. None were RAW images is the main point. Second point...it was incredibly fast, I left the original shots alone and exported to a sub-folder. What could be easier, quicker, with more assured results, even on non-RAW images? Mike
