Hi Dfaris, I obtained AfterShotPro1 when I purchased Corel's PaintShopPro. I recently updated to version 4 (no Pro). Depending on what you do, it may be worth buying. Then again, it may come for free with future PaintShopPro or CDGS releases It's primary purpose in life is to open RAW files. A secondary purpose is to use it as a graphics editor. If you shoot in RAW, then seriously consider buying it or wait until it is a free give-away. It has been ranked as close to Lightroom for converting from RAW. You also get to own it in contrast to Adobe's rental system. Below is a screen shot of the tools available in AfterShot. They are typical of RAW converters. Personally, I never use it. My camera gives me the option of shooting in RAW for one shot or taking three bracketed shots. I prefer the three bracketed shots. My daughter likes the retouch options. I find them very limited compared to PhotoPaint. Phil PS: Be sure to record the license number when you download. I couldn't find it anywhere on version 2.4
