I'm dicking around on a tablet right now and I want to get the dialogs right, so patience please. First you need to understand that when you're traveling with the laptop the calibration process may need some attention, if I remember Windows will manually allow you to select the display and a profile. Windows may, once set recognize and automatically switch between one or the other but IMO not simultaneously support both. With that said don't expect much from that onboard video card or that laptop display, the onboard video card and your high end display or the high end card and the laptop display. You'll need calibration software/hardware, the Spyder Pro seems pretty good for around $200.
