Hi Ariel, I have no idea why bluenite has a redraw problem. If others have the same problem with "small" files, then you should call it to Corel's attentions. It could indeed be a programming problem -- although not a bug. Redraw speed depends on how much of the original document has been saved and then used again. At the very worst, nothing is saved. Then the program must calculate the display for each step in the movement. At the very best, everything is saved except for the small part which has been changed. The latter is more complex programming but gives the fastest redraw speeds. MS Word seems to make maximum use of saving portions of the document which have not changed. For instance, let's say there is a photo displayed on the monitor. As you type or add image elements, the position on the screen of the photo changes. However, this seems to happen instantly. In any case, my very own personal opinion is that fixing bugs and problems is more important than anything else. Adobe may go back to selling software -- so Corel should get its act together. Phil
